Scholarships

Criteria

  • The Branscombe Family foundation provides scholarship opportunities to students living in the Niagara Region who attend publicly-funded high schools within the region and who will attend an Ontario accredited and publicly funded university or college.
  • Scholarships are only granted to students who will take a full course program commencing this higher learning in the immediate following academic year. Approval of applications is based primarily on financial need combined with academic excellence.

  • Applications are distributed each fall to publicly-funded secondary schools in The Regional Municipality of Niagara and made available to students who will graduate the following spring (same school year).
  • Completed applications are forwarded to the respective secondary school guidance departments who in turn forward them to The Branscombe Family Foundation by May 1st.
  • The current minimum average to qualify for a scholarship is 80%.
  • Scholarships are only granted to students who will take a full course program at an Ontario university or community college and who will commence this higher learning the following school year
